[Poem] The Stars

Some days I see the stars yet I feel darkness surrounding me

Like false hope I imagine for myself

Falling

Falling further from the truth

Further from reality

Yet I feel comfort

In the stars around me

Stars that I feel but cannot feel me

Acknowledge me

Knowledge

Knowledge of my failures

My flaws

My humanity

They do not know

Yet I know

I feel hope

The stars

They do not know me

Yet I am glad
