About

Welcome to the Ayala Bulldog Times!

2023-2024

The Bulldog Times is the online student-run publication of Chino Hills’ Ruben S. Ayala High School. Our publication seeks to provide an outlet for student voices and enlighten the community about student life and interests. The publication currently operates this website and an Instagram (@ayalabulldogtimes). Student journalists provide the vision and voice of our publication. We are committed to publishing weekly on the news, campus activities, and student culture.

All content decisions are made by the editorial staff, under the advisement of Ms. Eileen Tse. Opinions represent the personal viewpoint of the author and not the school or this publication. We welcome reader comments on the website; any comment, however, reflecting baseless accusations, insults, libelous statements, or obscenities will be removed from the site.

We welcome publishing work that you would like the school to see. We accept writing, artwork, and audiovisual submissions. If you have any suggestions or submissions for consideration, please email them to [email protected] or come visit B103.

Interested in enrolling in the 4th period Journalism class for next year? The Bulldog Times is looking for self-motivated individuals to bring their voice and vision to our student-run publication. Journalism can be a time-consuming endeavor that challenges you to step out of your comfort zone, but you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other passionate and talented students, interact with new people (peers and adults), and develop academically and professionally working on short- and long-term projects with publication in mind.

Students of all backgrounds and experience levels are welcome!

Your application will be reviewed by our editorial board and adviser. This is a rolling application.
