The Bulldogs were able to secure the victory in a high-scoring game against the Chino High School Cowboys.

On Friday, the Ayala Bulldogs took on the Chino Cowboys during both schools’ Senior Night matchup. The Bulldogs took the victory, winning 17-12, putting their record at 9-16.

The Bulldogs were off to a great start, taking the first quarter 5-1. The Cowboys were able to put one goal on the board, due to a five-meter shot. Ultimately, the Bulldogs pulled away quickly, scoring five of their own and establishing an early lead in the game.

In the second quarter, the Bulldogs continued to pull away, scoring seven more goals and putting them up at 10 points. On the other side, Chino scored another two points, putting them at three points total. The game was set at 10-3 at halftime, the Bulldogs with a heavy lead.

At the start of the second half, the Cowboys saw sights of a comeback, as they scored five goals in the third quarter. Ayala was able to add three more points onto their lead, sufficient enough to avoid a late-game comeback from Chino. Going into the final quarter, the score was 13-8 in favor of Ayala.

In the final quarter, the Bulldogs scored another four goals to round out their victory. The Cowboys were able to put up final efforts, scoring four themselves, but the game ultimately went to Ayala with a final score of 17-12.
