Released back in May, Billie Eilish dropped one of her latest hit singles, “Birds of a Feather.” The single reached international audiences with her atmospheric, yet lighthearted melody, with its meaning being just as positive. 

With the title being based on the British proverb, “birds of a feather flock together,” it helps to understand what the whole song is about. The saying itself illustrates the idea that similar people with similar interests will find and stay together, which symbolizes Eilish’s song overall. “Birds of a Feather” is a depiction of Eilish’s idea of falling so deep in love, and that she wants to stick with them.
