The disheveled, unkempt appearance that Albert Einstein chose to present himself with made him all the more an eccentric personality. Matthew Rivas (10) wears a white wig and a lab coat in an ode to one of the greatest scientists to ever live.

From Greek mythology to Disney, Hercules stands as an iconic figure that has roots in the western canon and culture. As a tribute to the god of strength and heroes, Jacob Rosales (12) wears this costume in celebration of the spooky season.

Noah Sanchez (9) dresses up as SpongeBob SquarePants in this silly, yet nostalgic look. Beloved cartoon characters continue to be a favorite costume year after year.

Irelynn Waroff (9) dons a leopard print skirt and compliments it with a creative makeup look. Animal costumes have always been popular, and they are a signature every year on Halloween.

Malaia Reger (12) and Kaitlyn Min (12) decided to be characters from Sanrio. Reger dressed up as Cinnamoroll and Min dressed up as Kuromi, both posing and matching with each other for Halloween.

Jeremiah Alvarado (10) wore a shark head piece along with a mask that lights up in the dark. Both elements create a mix of creativity and uniqueness for a spooky, yet fun Halloween.

This Halloween, Naomi Meehan (12) decided to be Alvin from “Alvin and the Chipmunks.” Dressed in red attire, from the hoodie to the backwards cap, Meehan captured the essence of Alvin.

Bella Jimenez (12) dressed comfy this Halloween, wearing a onesie from “My Neighbor Tortoro,” a famous Studio Ghibli film. Many students love to dress comfortably, and Jimenez brought the Halloween spirit in combination with relaxation.

For sisters Violet Kowalski (12) and Lillith Kowalski (9), their costumes reflected the famous movie “Ghostbusters,” with Lillith being the ghostbuster and Violet being the ghost. Halloween is a time where a mysterious spirit is alive, and their joint costume is a fun reminder of that.

This year, the teachers of Ayala came together for Halloween, dressing up as Waldo from the popular franchise “Where’s Waldo?” Mrs. Barreras happily joined in with the teachers, matching her friends and coworkers.

This costume features Tiffany Valentine, the Bride of Chucky. Ariana Guebara (12) brought the human version of the doll who became the Bride of Chucky to life.

Maximus Vargas (12) is dressed up as Melanie Martinez, the famous singer. Being part of the Cry Babies, Martinez’s fan base, really sparked Vargas’ imagination for his costume.

Steven Rodriguez (12) and Marcy Magno Garcia (12) took a stroll down Sesame Street. This couple rocked amazing Cookie Monster and Elmo onesies.

Ava Ryan (9) and Valentina Rodriguez (12) dressed up as the mystery twins Dipper and Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls. Ironically, neither of them planned this out, but by crossing paths through periods, it led to this nice surprise.

Juliett Legorreta (12) is a sweet girl who transformed into the villainous Katherine Pierce from “The Vampire Diaries.” As Katherine said it best in the show, “It’s okay to love them both.”

Amanda Noguez (12) dressed up as a beautiful and graceful angel. Noguez paired the halow with a frilly white dress to give off an angelic effect.

Jacob Kim (12) dressed as a “fat reindeer.” Although it may seem completely odd, the onesie fits into the quirkiness of all Halloween costumes.

Chloe ‘Coco’ Hong (10) stands in her Lorax costume, bringing the iconic character to life as she heads out for a night of trick or treating. The bright orange costume is certainly unique and represents Hong’s personality.

Lucas Liu (10), channeling a 1930s American, and Don Kumar (10), sporting a bloodied shirt, prepare for a long night of trick or treating with a feast on Chili’s legendary Triple Dipper.

Dexter is coming to town this Halloween. Lucas Minor (11) decided to be the infamous Dexter Morgan in his homemade costume.

This student is dressed in a delicious costume and is noticed by many as he walks around campus. Kevin Zheng (11) dresses up as a giant hot dog, one of his favorite foods.

Yuna Kim (11) has decided to dress up as a witch for Halloween. She resembles one of the many witches from the series “Little Witch Academia.”

Be careful because this student is one you shouldn’t mess with. Student Emily Nakasaki (11) is up for hire as she becomes a professional hitman for Halloween.

From left, Priya Devine (11) and Ashley Change (11) appeared in their matching pink and blue shark blow-up costumes. Inspired by the many blow-up costumes around campus, the duo decided to take a unique approach and become sharks for the spooky holiday.
