Most people who have been on TikTok recently have learned about the Chili’s Triple Dipper, the trend where people go to Chili’s and get the Triple Dipper appetizer either alone or with friends. This trend has shown incredible success for Chili’s and has gained popularity among those who want to participate.

The Chili’s Triple Dipper is an infamous appetizer from Chili’s that allows customers to choose three appetizers including bone-in or boneless wings, southwestern egg rolls, fried mozzarella sticks, Big Mouth burger bites, and Chicken Crispers. These options make sure that everyone gets what they want, enticing people to go back to their local Chili’s for more. 

First becoming popular on TikTok, the Triple Dipper has become a sensation surging the appetizer plate by 70% in sales, and making up 11% of Chili’s total sales, according to Restaurant Business. This has brought not only more publicity to the restaurant, but it helps them bring in more customers and revenue, ultimately benefiting the restaurant. 

Because of the rising popularity on TikTok, there have been many people going out to try the new appetizer plate. Even those who haven’t gone to try it have heard good things about the dish and would like to give it a try in the future. 

“I haven’t tried it yet, but I have heard about it on TikTok and I think it sounds really good,” Katie Park (12) said. 

Not only does the Triple Dipper satisfy hungry Chili’s fans’ cravings, but they also allow people to spend more time with their friends and loved ones. On TikTok, it is not uncommon to see videos of people out with their friends sharing the Triple Dipper since one person wouldn’t be able to finish it on their own most of the time. 

While this appetizer has gained much love on many social media platforms, there are still people that don’t think getting the Triple Dipper is worth it. Some people complain about the food quality while others say that the price of $20 is too expensive for a mediocre appetizer. 

However you may like it, the Chili’s Triple Dipper is a new staple in TikTok culture and is a trend that will last a long time. While it can get pricey, the different options and the connection it brings to any friend group makes it something that will remain popular long after the trend is over.
