When you get home after a long day and you, nor your parents, feel like making any food, what is the one food you always want to order? Pizza. Hot, cheesy, and topped with your favorite toppings, pizza is a fast and easy food that can be picked up quickly or delivered right to your doorstep. However, this is where the question comes into play. Who is better? To measure Domino’s Pizza and Little Caesars, the two top pizza makers, let’s look at some key factors to see who is the pizza king.

Delivery:

Domino’s:

Locations within a five to ten mile radius of Ayala High School do offer delivery through the company, but also providers like DoorDash and GrubHub. The downside, however, is that they lack good delivery service reviews. Almost all reviews have talked horribly about the delivery, with some deliveries taking up to two hours. Although this store does offer delivery, it isn’t ideal.

Little Caesars:

Similarly with Domino’s, Little Caesars does offer delivery, yet they only do it through DoorDash, Postmates, and more. A lot of reviews regarding their delivery can be faulty, as many times issues may arise with the driver, but along the lines of readiness when the drivers do arrive, Little Caesars blows Domino’s out of the water. The point has to be given to Little Caesars pizza.

Reviews:

Domino’s:

Much like their delivery reviews, Domino’s overall reviews are not as good. According to Yelp, they have a 2 star review with 153 reviews being submitted. Lots of the reviews talk poorly about customer service, as the cashiers and people who take over the phone orders are rude and condescending. There are some bright spots in the reviews; however, the overwhelming amount of reviews talking bad about customer service, and even the food itself, do not give Domino’s a good look.

Little Caesars:

Compared to their delivery reviews, Little Caesars does not really shine much brighter. With an overall 2 ½ stars, with 115 reviews submitted, they might just narrowly beat Domino’s. Lots of reviews were contradicting, with some praising the food and service, and some having their own issues with rude cashiers or long wait times for their pizza. However, a lot of the negative reviews were from a year ago, with some of the positive reviews being recent. With this, Little Caesars narrowly out beats Domino’s, as they seem to be learning from their past failures.

Menu:

Domino’s:

The offerings at Domino’s truly surprises me. Besides their pizzas, where they offer specialty and build your own options, they have wings, loaded tots, oven-baked sandwiches, and even oven-baked pastas. Along with this, they offer desserts, salads, and liters of soda, as well as a variety of dips to go with pizza and wings. Personally, I did not expect this from Domino’s, as the loaded tots is a unique and smart move to drive in customers.

Little Caesars:

This is the part where Little Caesars cannot compete. Besides their pizza options (build your own, deep dish, originals), they only have limited sides. Their famous crazy bread and their newer pizza puffs are not to be scoffed at, but they do not rival in the amount of uniqueness and option. They too offer desserts and liters of soda, but that is where it truly ends for Little Caesars.

Overall:

In the end, despite their crazy variety of foods, service and review are top priorities to keep a business operating. Domino’s may offer crazy amounts of food, but the reviews about service and the timeliness of these foods may just make anyone want to settle for Little Caesars. Even though it is all up to preference, Little Caesars takes the pizza king crown.
