Ayala Art Show displays beautiful, diverse creations

Books are easily considered works of art, though many cannot infer that merely by their cover. Flowers blooming out of a book’s pages showcase their visual beauty from the inside.

At the Ayala Art Show, the Language Department and its classes each made a contribution. The Spanish 2 class showcased their knowledge of the Spanish language by creating a diorama of a room in their house, with the corresponding description in Spanish.

A business class is likely the last class you would expect to have a display in an art show. However, students in business management created portfolios of famous superheroes to demonstrate their marketing abilities.

At the very front of the show sat a table with various colors and papers. Lying on that table were stamps. Students themselves carved images into erasers, creating these makeshift stamps that function.

A city built entirely out of staples is not something you can see every day. Despite the abnormalcy, students in engineering classes took to the challenge and each created their own staple-infused structure to form a city.

One of the main displays in the duration of the show was the graphic art wall. The graphic design created by students highlights their creativity and usage of digital art. With a variety of styles, the wall stood out with its bright colors and precise appearance.

Once again, the art students have proven that a painting does not need to be colorful to be beautiful, as seen through their monochrome art. The simplicity of the art proved to be just as gorgeous as the others, each painting with its meaning, message, and story.

The engineering class participated in the art show by creating both blueprints for dioramas. The blueprints were about what the students wanted their imaginary buildings to look like.

In Spanish 2 classes, students were asked to pick a room in a house and label the furniture in Spanish. Some students were able to get creative and chose a variety of different materials to build and decorate their furniture with, such as a SpongeBob figurine.

One of the most memorable pieces showcased in the Ayala art show was the display of art organized by color. The pieces were organized in the order of the rainbow, with this part showcasing the pink, red, and orange colors of the rainbow.
