On September 23, at 3:30 p.m., Ayala Junior Varsity’s (JV) team faced off against the Bonita Bearcats, where sadly Ayala lost with a staggering score of 5-13. Although losing the game, Ayala put up a good battle against all of the matches during the scorching heat.
During the scorching heat, there were several instances where many felt that it was too much to bear. However, the team was able to persevere through the weather and win Ayala five matches. Additionally, it was the great skill of the Bearcats that allowed them to pull out this win from the Bulldogs.
Although the Bulldogs had lost the game, they put a great amount of effort into their matches and were able to bring home several wins for the school. Support would be greatly appreciated to see Ayala’s Bulldogs’ JV team play their next game at Ayala High School on September 30 against Walnut High School’s Mustangs.
