On Wednesday, October 15, the Varsity boys water polo team, coming off a six-game win streak in which they hadn’t lost a game since the start of the month, lost a nailbiter 15-13 to the Walnut Mustangs. The Mustangs were the team to hand them their previous loss, and have unfortunately completed a season sweep against the Bulldogs.
But the Bulldogs have shown resilience throughout the season, playing competitively regardless of the outcome. They have won three of their last four home games, hopeful to continue this trend as the month continues. They will play again Friday against San Dimas High School, as they embark on a hopeful end-of-season five-game homestand where they look to push up the league standings and secure themselves a playoff spot.
