Fall is in the Air
As the air cools and fall approaches, pumpkins of all are now in season. At Trader Joe’s, this autumnal fruit comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors. As the latter parts of the year nears, so does the craving for a warm and comforting treat. Cinnamon rolls are often made in the fall season and can be customized to one’s preference. Pictured is an attempt to make these delectable bundles of warmth, with a twist of pumpkin and nutmeg.
Several cafes and restaurants have begun to implement fall flavors in their menus. Not far from Ayala is Klatch Coffee in the Shoppes at Chino Hills. Their fall menu includes the infamous pumpkin spiced latte and drinks like their pumpkin cold brew or pumpkin chai.
The sudden drop in temperature that fall is often characterized by also leads to drops from the trees in the form of leaves. Changing from a bright green to varying shades of orange, yellow, and red, the leaves have began to shed. Although it is truly thanks to the breaking down of chlorophyll in the plant, we can give the autumnal months the credit.
Amongst the several common fall festivities, pumpkin carving is one of the most popular activities. As pumpkins are in their peak season, carving a spooky image and lighting a candle to place inside the gourd creates a jack-o-lantern. Anyone can decorate their front porch with these ornaments or gift them to a friend to spread the fall spirit.
Several empty spaces in Chino Hills are cleared to prepare for harvest festivals or programs that celebrate the approaching fall season. Frosty’s Pumpkin Patch is a very popular option, including a petting zoo, ferris wheel, and most importantly, the corn maze that jump-scares whoever dares to complete it. They start preparing for this event months before the opening, which is on September 27, and the attraction continues through the month of October.
Trader Joe’s is hit with a pumpkin craze every year, as they have several fall items that bring large crowds to the store. One quick stop at the store can have you leaving with various sweet treats, such as pumpkin bread, cookies, muffins, and more. Their selection is very diverse, and the store introduces new products each year to celebrate autumn.

Cardigans, scarves, Ugg boots – the fashion is limitless when it comes to autumn wear. As the weather turns cooler, the shorts and sandals slowly turn into longer wear that reflects the weather. With a vibrant mix of oranges, reds, and browns, the outfits mix a classy style with warmth and comfort.
With fall in the air, so are the comfy cozy shoes to match. During the fall season, boots and loafers such as UGGS are a fan favorite. With their cozy, soft interior and overall cute look, they are a staple for fall shoes.
As fall “falls” upon us, it’s not a surprise that there will be delectable food. Pumpkin is no stranger to flavor in this warm and cozy season.
