On Thursday, October 11, Boys Water Polo fell to their league opponents, the Bonita Bearcats, with a final score of 11-10. This sets Ayala’s record at 4-10 overall, and 0-3 in league. Bonita’s record is now 11-13 overall, and 2-1 in league. This was Bonita’s last game of their regular season, without regard to CIF.
As this long anticipated game kicked off, both teams were eager to see where they would land as this was the first time these two teams played each other this season. Both teams fought hard and did not give up; however, Bonita was able to secure the win, only by one point. This set the final score at 11-10, with Bonita coming out on top.
Ayala’s next game will be on Monday, October 14 at 3:30 against Sierra Vista, and it is a home game.
