Boys Soccer comes up short in first game of the season

Ayala Boys Soccer went against the Roosevelt Mustangs in close first game of the season.

December 3 was the date for the first official game of the Ayala Boy’s Soccer season. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity (JV) teams went against Roosevelt High School.

Both the Varsity and JV team ended up scoring at least one goal against Roosevelt. However, both teams fell short on winning in the end with JV having a final losing score of 3-2 and Varsity having a losing score of 2-1.

Both teams put in a great effort into their games, though they came short in the end. However, this loss does not define how the rest of their season will go. The next boys soccer game will be today, December 5, and it will be an away game at Nogales High School.
