On Thursday, December 6, girls Varsity water polo lost their game against La Habra with a final score of 10-8. This was the second match of the season for Ayala and third for La Habra. The result of this game sets Ayala’s record at 1-1, and La Habra’s at 1-3.
Throughout the match, both teams fought hard, which we saw through the close score of the points between the two, with La Habra only winning by two goals. Both teams’ determination and energy carried them through the match; however, La Habra managed to take the win by scoring 10 goals. Whereas Ayala only was able to score eight. This set the final score at 10-8.
Ayala’s next game will be on Friday, December 13 against Diamond Bar at 3:00 at home. La Habra’s next game will be on Tuesday, December 10 against Whittier at 3:30 which is also at home.
