On Thursday, September 4, the Ayala Bulldog Boys Varsity Water Polo team went head-to-head against the Anaheim Colonists in a crucial away game.
The Bulldogs, looking for their first win of the season after an 0-2 start, were in a hard-fought battle in which momentum swung in favor of both sides, but eventually were able to get the win, defeating the Colonists 12-10.
Notable players of the game for the Bulldogs were seniors Kane Wukelich, Alex De La Cruz, and James Surio, all scoring goals to help the Bulldogs secure the win.
The Bulldogs will play again on Friday in two home games against Esperanza High School and Aliso Niguel High School.
