The Varsity football team took the game against the Charter Oak Chargers 45-10 on October 19, leaving their record with one game left to go at 5-4, and giving another loss to the Chargers to make their record 2-7 for their second to last league game as well.
The game began with a 42-yd field goal from Ayala, followed by an 82-yd rushing touchdown and a successful PAT. The second quarter contained two touchdowns and successful PAT’s by the Bulldogs, and a successful field goal from the Chargers. The third quarter involved two complete touchdowns and PAT’s by Ayala followed by Charter Oak’s first completed touchdown with a complete PAT as well.
In the last quarter, Ayala sealed the deal with a rushing touchdown and successful PAT to end the game 45-10 with another Bulldogs win. The Charter Oak chargers face the Bonita Wildcats on Thursday for their last league game, Ayala faces Alta Loma on Friday for their last league game as well.
