Creativity with Consideration is a club that not only harnesses students’ artistic talents, but also channels that creative energy towards giving back to the community. With a mission to inspire, bond, and make a difference, this club is making waves and warming hearts. 

At the core of this creative venture are a team of passionate students who are committed to making a difference. Co-Presidents Hiya Sarvaiya (9) and Melanie Medrina (9), Vice-President and United Club Counsel (UCC) Representative Arya Kulkarni (9), Secretary London McCue (9), and Treasurer Ivy Tinoco (9) form the dynamic leadership of Creativity with Consideration. Together, they provide the club with guidance, vision, and unwavering enthusiasm. 

“As a co-president of this club, I took on this position because I wanted people to be inspired and create things outside of their imagination and find ways to help the community in doing so,” Sarvaiya said.

Sarvaiya’s words reflect the core ethos of the club, which is all about unleashing the power of creativity to make a positive impact. 

Creativity with Consideration is not your typical arts and crafts club. Yes, members explore their artistic abilities, but the outcomes of their creative endeavors extend far beyond personal satisfaction. The club engages in various crafting projects, from making blankets and bracelets to crafting stuffed animals and scarves. These beautifully crafted items serve a dual purpose – they can either be sold to raise funds or donated to those in need.

This unique approach encourages students not only to develop their artistic skills, but also to consider the impact of their creativity on the wider community. It’s a club that takes the joy of crafting and infuses it with purpose, creating a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction that goes beyond the act of creation itself.

“Our club is about creating fun opportunities for people to develop bonds with their peers,” Kulkarni said.

Through their crafting sessions and collaborative projects, members forge meaningful connections with their peers, transcending the boundaries of age and grade levels. “We also hope to create fun and engaging ways to help people outside of our school who need it,” Kulkarni added.
