Girls JV Tennis finishes off Diamond Bar Brahmas

Ayala’s Girls JV Tennis beats Diamond Bar Brahmas with a score of 81-78.

On Tuesday, Ayala’s Girls Junior Varsity (JV) tennis took the win against Diamond Bar’s Brahmas, beating them with a phenomenal score of 81-78.

JV had a very close game that created much tension and excitement within the environment, audience, and players. In the first round of sets, two out of the three single starters won their sets. For the doubles, unfortunately, they suffered losses from all three starter pairs. During the next round of sets, all three single starters won their matches. However, doubles did end up losing their matches again. With the last round of sets, the single starters all won their sets, once again, with doubles winning one of three of their matches. The highlight of this round was starter three and Diamond Bar’s starter one.

In the beginning, Diamond Bar’s player was up by two. But with a turn of events, Ayala’s starter started to catch up with volleys and long, strong shots. The Bulldogs won with a score of 6-4.

The next game for Ayala’s JV tennis team will be an away game next Tuesday against the Claremont Wolfpack.
