The Bulldog Times is proud to share the winner of the 2026 Comic Contest. Thank you all for participating, and a special thank you goes out to Alexa Corpuz (10) and Elisabeth Lee (12) for generously creating the base illustrations for the contest. We hope you all enjoy some hilarious comics at your leisure!

“The Baked Potato Chants” By Amber Lin (11)

“The commentary is short, but sweet and vivid! The ending is unpredictable and funny. I like how Amber used the words to create a clear and unique narrative for the comic. I want you too, potato among the cookies,” Editor In Chief Elisabeth Lee (12) said.

“This comic is genuinely so unhinged, and I let out a little laugh,” Features Editor Estelle Ignacio (10) said.

“Chicken Pot Pie” By Amber Lin

“This follows a very intriguing story, with high tensions and even higher comedy. It’s safe to say that I won’t be buying that question sauce,” staff writer Alexa Corpuz (10) said.

“The artwork on this was impeccable and the story that went along with it was funny and odd. I could feel the creativity radiating through the screen and it was really enjoyable,” staff writer Annika Lim (10) said.

The Bulldog Times staff greatly enjoyed looking over these comics and were delighted with the results. If you want to publish any of your original artworks on our publication always feel free to reach out. More contests are soon to come so keep an eye out for any announcements!
