Ayala’s varsity’s football team took the game against Glendora High School 49-14, making their start of the season record 3-3 and Glendora’s a 4-3 record. The game began with a pass complete touchdown by Glendora, followed by a successful kick. Ayala responded with a rushing touchdown with a failed attempt for a two-point conversion, ending the first quarter.
The second quarter began with a successful touchdown from Ayala with a one yard pass, followed by a successful PAT, making the score 13-7.
Glendora soon led the game by one point after a touchdown and kick, but Ayala made a tremendous difference with an incredible three touchdowns assisted by two successful PATs and a two-point conversion, ending the half with the score of 35-14, with Ayala leading the game.
The final score ended with Ayala winning 49-14 after scoring two more rushing touchdowns followed by two successful PATs.
