Naomi Lopez is a senior at Ayala High School who grew up with a love for writing. She plans to focus her career on the art of creative writing, which is why she decided to test the waters of journalism. Currently, she participates in the Ayala Polynesian Club, volunteers at Priceless Pets, is enrolled in AP Design, and enjoys theatre, but she’s always on the lookout for more hobbies to gather. Although she takes part in these activities, she will always be loyal to her love for creative writing. She spends a lot of time working on her novels-in-progress, and is an active mentee in the WriteGirl program outside of school. A lot of her inspiration for what she creates comes from her friends, which is why her favorite memory at Ayala was the 2021 Homecoming. There, she got to dance the night away with her closest friends. Although her friends are her biggest inspiration, Naomi hopes to expand her knowledge in writing through reporting for the journalism course. There, she hopes that her inspiration can continue to grow and evolve to make her writing as flawless as it can be.
