Madison O’Neill, News Editor
Madison O’Neill (12) is the News Editor for the Bulldog Times, and this will be her third year on staff. Madison is hoping to write and publish articles that help to inform the student body of events that are occurring in the community. She is looking forward to connecting with different people and groups, continuing to publish her works for her last year in high school, and mentoring new students within the publication. In addition to being the News Editor, she is also a player for the girls’ golf team at Ayala and a member of multiple clubs, such as Find Kind and Positive School Culture Club. In her free time, she enjoys reading romance and mystery novels, listening to music, and watching Netflix with her family.

![Since high school students have finished their elementary school education, giving gifts to teachers has been on the decline. Because of this, students start to struggle about how they can make their teachers feel appreciated. “I don't think that [students are] purposely not appreciating [their teachers].
