"I do think that the juniors' class competition [performance] was really good, but I would say that everyone did great and put in a lot of effort," Kieza Martinez (10) said. On November 18, Ayala’s Girls Varsity Basketball team competed in the Raincross Tournament. The Raincross Tournament was held at J. W. North High School and Ayala competed in their first round of the tournament game.
Ayala competed against Aquinas High School for their first round at the Raincross Tournament, and Ayala came out to win with a score of 54-32.
This was the team’s first round in the Raincross tournament, and with their win, they are now eligible to move onto the next round. Their next tournament game will be on Thursday November 21 at J. W. North High School against Hesperia High School.
