FBLA earns multiple awards from state leadership conference
With many seniors committing to their colleges for the next four years, the Class of 2024 brought home impressive acceptances as they prepared for graduation. Ashna Bhandari (12), Isabella Liang (12), Laurie Park (12), and Clarisse Nikaido (12), celebrate their committed colleges, proudly wearing UCLA and UC Berkeley apparel.

The Colorguard team (pictured above) finishes their last performance in Dayton, Ohio with bubbles floating around their bright set. This was the show that earned them the position in World Class, an accomplishment that had not been achieved since 2019.

My whole family plays it, English 9 teacher Mrs. Jessica Mensen said. I like Connections and then I play Strands. Now its harder, so its just more challenging and I like the challenge of it.

Visual ensemble member Candice Tseng (10) did not let her injury stop her from going to the SCPA Championships in Dayton. Her teammates were surprised by how she still decided on going on. When she first got injured, we were all really scared. And then when she decided to still perform for Dayton, we were all just super surprised how she was able to recover so quickly, Visual Ensemble member Isabella Kourosmehr (10) said.

Khalea Turningan has recently signed with the University of La Verne, to continue playing soccer after she graduates from Ayala. “Ive enjoyed [soccer] so much that I committed,” Turnigan said.
