Ayala boys varsity golf suffers their first loss of the season, falling to Murrieta Valley High School by 43 strokes.

In this non-league match, Ayala’s Varsity boys golf team competed against Murrieta Valley Varsity boys team. This is their fourth official match of the season as they played a nine hole match at Bear Creek Country Club, a member-only course in Murrieta, California. After three consecutive wins, Ayala suffered their loss by a deafening forty three strokes as they scored a 233 against Murrieta’s 190 stroke score. The Ayala boys averaged about 47 strokes for each of the five scores taken, while Murrieta’s boys shot approximately 37 strokes per player.

In comparison to their previous scores, the boys did not perform as well as they shot about 20 strokes over their average of 214 strokes per match. 

Boys Varsity: 233

Murrieta Valley: 190

With this defeat, they hope to up their game in an upcoming non-league competition on March 14 against Colony High school at Whispering Lakes, an eighteen hole course in Ontario, California.
