The golfers competed at the nine-hole course, Break Creek Golf Course, in Brea, California. The match occurred over the span of a little over two hours, taking place from 5:15 pm to 7:30 pm. With spirits ready to start strong for the 2023 season, the Bulldogs shot a 217, averaging about 43 strokes per player. Barely winning by two strokes as La Habra shot a 219, averaging about 44 strokes per player, the Bulldogs’ win was sealed when William Wang and Willian Li shot par on the last hole.

“The Williams (Wang and Li) came in and shot a par…in the dark! Way to go Bulldogs!” said Coach Capps, expressing his excitement at the JV Boys’ win.

They JV golfers hope to secure their second win as they will continue onto their next match against Mater Dei Monarch Mayhem’s golf team on Monday, March 20 at Willowick Golf Course, an eighteen hole course in Willowick, California.
