Varsity volleyball showed out during senior night as soon-departing players give everything they have left into a possible CIF appearance.

After being defeated by Claremont High School while away, the varsity volleyball team returned stronger than ever before in a home game held on Monday. In addition to winning 3-2, seniors were commemorated before the game as it was one of the last games of their season.

Box score:

1: 20-25

2: 25-23

3: 25-16

4: 22-25

5: 15-9

The tight game kept the teams and audience on the edge of their seats as points were received by both schools, but our Bulldogs pushed through the end and concluded victorious.

In honor of the class of 2023 students, seniors Bella Emanuele, Nevaeh Livingston, Emma Utterback, Learden Lee, and Daniella Serrano were escorted into the gym by their families while the varsity coach and fellow teammates delivered heartwarming speeches in front of the audience of family and friends.

On the 12th, varsity will face Claremont High School again during another home game, and will go on to play at the CIF on Tuesday if they win the rematch.
