Ayala Boys’ Water Polo seals victory against the Olympian High School Eagles

Bulldogs in the boys varsity water polo wins an amazing game against Olympian High School.

On October 7, boys’ varsity water polo won their match 16-6 against the Olympian High School Eagles. This is Ayala’s 9th game of the season, and prior to this game, their record was set at 5-3. 

The first quarter determined that this was going to be a rough match for both of the teams. However, Ayala pushed through, scoring four goals, whereas the Eagles scored three. Ayala merely took the lead with the score by the end of the quarter set at 4-3. 

As the second quarter began, once again both teams presented themselves to be competitive, but Ayala was still in the lead following an additional three goals scored this quarter. The Eagles followed close behind scoring two goals during this time. By the end of the quarter, the score was set at 7-5, with Ayala in the lead. 

In the third quarter, Ayala scored three more goals, putting them further ahead in the game. The Eagles scored a single goal, but still presented themselves to be a tough challenge for Ayala. By the end of the quarter, the score was 10-6, with Ayala still maintaining the lead. 

The fourth and last quarter would seal the victory for Ayala as they scored six goals within this time. This made the final score 16-6, with Ayala taking the win.
