Boys soccer opened their season with a win last night against Roosevelt, hoping to have a better season than the last.

On November 29, Boys’ Varsity Soccer won their first game of the season against the Roosevelt High School Mustangs with a final score of 2-0. This was the kickoff game of the season for both teams; however, the Bulldogs took the victory. This sets the record for Ayala at 1-0, and the Mustangs at 0-1.

As the first half began, both teams were faced with a tough match as the score at halftime was 0-0. The next half would determine if the final score would end in a draw or if one team would take the lead.

Going into the second half, both teams were eager to win as the game was still undecided. However, the Bulldogs rose to the challenge and managed to score two goals, whereas the Mustangs scored none. This set the final score at 2-0, with the Bulldogs taking the win.

Ayala’s next game will be on Friday, December 1st against Los Osos High School. Roosevelt’s next game will be on Thursday, November 30th against Poly High School.
