Seniors were honored in the final rally of the school year by walking through a tunnel of cheering staff. Many seniors felt emotional, but excited as they attended their last rally of high school.

With the recent class officer elections, all class officers have officially been elected by students in their respective grades. Many officers hope to increase campus spirit in the upcoming weeks.
Introducing the 2024-2025 class officers
Assistant Principal Ms. Patricia Durham and Ms. Zhijing Fan present the ELAC meeting to the audience to learn about options after high school. Ms. Fan advises her students on how to be more comfortable speaking English as they graduate. Start being more active to speak in front of the public, Fan said. I would suggest them to relax and then be in a natural, neutral tone and just to show and express themselves.

The drumline wins gold in marching finals for their program As Above, So Below. Given their success in the previous preliminaries, the drumlines clean sweep at the SCPA Championships was anticipated as they reached new heights.

Even though all juniors must take the CAASPP test, not everyone takes it seriously despite incentives. “I think that weve tried our best to stress the importance of the test, so hopefully that is coming across within [students] own attitudes towards [the CAASPP], English 10 Honors and AP Language teacher Mrs. Alexis Sjol said.

Khalea Turningan has recently signed with the University of La Verne, to continue playing soccer after she graduates from Ayala. “Ive enjoyed [soccer] so much that I committed,” Turnigan said.

With her commitment to dance and her other numerous extracurriculars, she is always busy enjoying her hobbies and serving her community. “Dance is my passion, as well as helping others in any way, shape or form such as volunteering in the community, or tutoring someone in academics, or teaching a sport,” Ladhawala said.

Chloe Wang (12) exhibits leadership and perseverance as she takes on the role of Lieutenant Governor for her Key Club division and officer positions in many different Ayala clubs. Taking on various responsibilities allows Wang to explore her passion for serving her community. Hoping to figure out her next path, her impressive involvement gives her many options before she soon graduates.

Aiden Choe (12) developed pneumothorax during late September which caused him to go on medical leave for the rest of the first semester. While on independent study, Aiden Choe overcame many hardships, yet here he stands today as one of the best of us.

Milena Leonis (12) is president of Ayala Choir. Still, Leonis stays involved in community endeavors such as Chino Community Theatre, arts, and dancing. Im most grateful for Milenas supportiveness and unconditional love for everybody in our program... she interacts with everybody with nothing but love and compassion, said choir director Mr. Davis.
