Assistant Principal Ms. Patricia Durham and Ms. Zhijing Fan present the ELAC meeting to the audience to learn about options after high school. Ms. Fan advises her students on how to be more comfortable speaking English as they graduate. Start being more active to speak in front of the public, Fan said. I would suggest them to relax and then be in a natural, neutral tone and just to show and express themselves.

The most difficult part of coordinating the showcase for ASL teacher Mrs. Natalie Cooney is coordinating with students for practice. coordinating with the students. Chloe Wang (12) exhibits leadership and perseverance as she takes on the role of Lieutenant Governor for her Key Club division and officer positions in many different Ayala clubs. Taking on various responsibilities allows Wang to explore her passion for serving her community. Hoping to figure out her next path, her impressive involvement gives her many options before she soon graduates.

Aiden Choe (12) developed pneumothorax during late September which caused him to go on medical leave for the rest of the first semester. While on independent study, Aiden Choe overcame many hardships, yet here he stands today as one of the best of us.

Milena Leonis (12) is president of Ayala Choir. Still, Leonis stays involved in community endeavors such as Chino Community Theatre, arts, and dancing. Abria Turner, Staff Writer

Abria Turner is new to the Ayala community. She moved from Mobile, AL just before the school year began. She is devoted to encouraging upcoming generations through her life experiences. Moving over 2,000 miles away from her friends and family became her motivation to focus on sharing her story. While she’s still preparing to launch her business, she’s found a new opportunity to spread a positive message. 

Abria’s goal in journalism is to write stories that will solve a problem and encourage its readers. She wants to shine a light on people who are doing good for the community but are not recognized. Being new to the school has allowed for her to meet new people and find those hidden gems. So, her favorite memories so far were meeting the many extraordinary people on this campus.
