Even though all juniors must take the CAASPP test, not everyone takes it seriously despite incentives. “I think that weve tried our best to stress the importance of the test, so hopefully that is coming across within [students] own attitudes towards [the CAASPP], English 10 Honors and AP Language teacher Mrs. Alexis Sjol said.

The most difficult part of coordinating the showcase for ASL teacher Mrs. Natalie Cooney is coordinating with students for practice. coordinating with the students. I have lots of students who are into a lot of things so one thing thats very difficult is coordinating time to make sure that everyones schedule works together so we can practice for the showcase, Cooney said.

Aiden Choe (12) developed pneumothorax during late September which caused him to go on medical leave for the rest of the first semester. While on independent study, Aiden Choe overcame many hardships, yet here he stands today as one of the best of us.

Annie Kim, Staff Writer

Annie Kim (12) is a member of the Ayala Bulldog Times. Annie looks forward to kicking off the BDT’s podcast and getting student’s voices heard on interesting topics. Some extracurricular activities she does are God’s Image Dance Team, interning for ThinknLocal, running a podcast, and President for multiple renowned clubs at school. Her interests outside of school include playing the guitar, Tetris, dancing, taking photos, editing videos, earning a stuffed animal in claw machines, and discovering new music. She loves going out as well as spending time with her friends whether it is eating popular trending foods, or partaking in indoor activities. The friendly and down to earth atmosphere that Ayala provides for its students is what Annie likes the most on campus.
